UniPlanner
Privacy policy
Effective November 5, 2026
The short version: BCDM, LLC does not collect, store, sell or share your personal information. Everything you put into UniPlanner stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. We don't run servers, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
Who we are
UniPlanner is made by BCDM, LLC ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to support@bcdm.dev.
Information we collect
None. We do not receive your calendar, lists, recipes, receipts, budget, photos, messages, location or any other information you enter into UniPlanner. We have no account system of our own and no servers where it could be kept.
Where your information lives
- On your device. Your data is stored in UniPlanner's private storage on your iPhone or iPad, protected by iOS encryption. Other apps cannot read it.
- In your iCloud account. If iCloud is turned on, UniPlanner syncs your data to your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it appears on your other devices. Sensitive budget information is stored in encrypted fields. If you turn on Apple's Advanced Data Protection, that data is end-to-end encrypted. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
- Shared with your household. If you create or join a household, the items you choose to share (such as the calendar, lists, meals, board posts and budget) are visible to the people in that household through iCloud sharing. Items you mark private are not shared. We never see shared data.
How the app's features use your information
| Permission or feature | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Camera | Taking photos of calendars, lists, receipts and gas pumps inside the app. These photos are saved only in UniPlanner, not in your photo library. |
| Photos | Importing a photo or screenshot you choose. The app only sees the photos you pick. |
| Reading text in photos | Done on your device using Apple's built-in text recognition and on-device intelligence. Photos are not sent to us. |
| Location (optional) | Only when you log a gas purchase, to find the name of the station you're at. Your location is sent to Apple Maps for that one lookup and is never stored, tracked or shared by us. You can decline and the app works normally. |
| Calendar access (optional) | Adding UniPlanner events to the calendar on your device, if you turn this on. |
| Purchases | Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. |
| Crash reports (optional) | If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. They contain no content from the app. |
Advertising, analytics and tracking
UniPlanner contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking code. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share information with data brokers.
Links to other services
Recipe and video links you save open in their own apps or in your browser, such as YouTube, TikTok or Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies. UniPlanner does not load their content inside the app.
Children
UniPlanner is designed for households, which may include children. Because we collect no information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and control
- Delete any item in the app at any time.
- Leave a household from the app. You keep a copy of what you added.
- Delete all UniPlanner data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings, and delete the app to remove what's on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. If we ever made a change that affected how your information is handled, we would say so in the app before it took effect.
